Editorial policy
Rural Sports Insider aims to make rural sport easier to understand through careful, readable coverage. We distinguish established information from opinion and avoid presenting uncertain details as settled facts.
Accuracy and clarity
We check names, dates and descriptions against suitable sources before publication, and write so readers can see what a claim refers to. We do not invent examples or imply first-hand observation where none took place. If a subject varies between clubs or places, we make that variation clear.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not to secure a commercial arrangement. A collaboration does not give a partner control over unrelated coverage, and we do not present promotional claims as independent editorial judgment.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or unclear passage, use the Contact page and identify the article and detail. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted, making significant changes clear to readers.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or partner material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where relevant, that is stated clearly. Images are not evidence that a depicted event or person is real.
Sport belongs to the whole community
A club is more than its results. Its grounds, routines and welcome all shape who feels able to take part.
