Write for us
Rural Sports Insider welcomes pitches that make a specific part of rural sport clearer, more interesting or easier to take part in. Send proposals through the Contact page; an idea is not a promise of publication.
What we welcome
We consider original pitches on rural sporting grounds, club routines, match-day customs, sporting history and participation. Strong proposals have a defined subject, a clear reader benefit and a scope that can be handled accurately without relying on unsupported claims.
Shape a useful pitch
Tell us the working idea, the central question, why it suits this publication and how you would approach it. Mention any sources or relevant experience you would draw on, but do not include confidential material or assume that an anecdote proves a wider trend.
Before sending
Send your proposal through the Contact page and choose the editorial option. Please do not submit a complete article unless requested. We cannot promise a response time or publication, and accepted work may need editing for clarity, accuracy and fit.
Sport belongs to the whole community
A club is more than its results. Its grounds, routines and welcome all shape who feels able to take part.
